May I say thanks for sharing such lovely music. I was hoping someone might help me find some tracks titles, LP's of some music I have been trying to locate for years! All I have are poor mono recording, what I would love to know is what LP's are these tracks from and who are the Performers?

What has happened to your wonderful blog? Soon after I discovered it, it quickly became one of the ones I checked almost every day for your stylish posts. I especially enjoyed the Deram releases since it seems, here in the Great Lakes region of the USA, that none of these found any kind of circulation when they were first released. I was looking forward to anything else you posted since I quickly learned to trust your taste. Then-for months now-disappointingly-nothing. I hope nothing has happened that would discourage you from continuing your posts.

I would like to say some few words on the best musician ever. Italian born Otto Cesana (1899-1980) spent much of his early career in California where he lived from 1908 to 1930. His piano studies commenced at the age of ten, and he became an accomplished organist; he also learned about orchestration and harmony which he put to good use working in radio and Hollywood film studios. Most critics regarded Cesana’s work as being ‘easy listening’, although the distinguished jazz critic Leonard Feather considered him worthy of an entry in the 1960 Encyclopaedia Jazz. By then Cesana had returned to Italy, although he was living in New York when he died in 1980. Cesana was very probably the greatest 20th century's composer and orchestrator but not only one mention about him cannot be found at Wikipedia!
